For all you Clone Wars Animated Series fans...

I've been trying to find information on the first season DVD release coming up soon, but I've come up short, so I thought I'd ask you guys. Does anyone know if the first Season on DVD that's coming out soon will have the Decoded option as a special feature? I'd like that if they did put that on there.

They have already released some of the episodes on DVD but not the whole season I work at Wal-Mart and the electronics guy keeps me posted on all star wars release dates I have not heard any thng yet. WIth it being Nickeloden it may not come out as a box for a bit.

Im will ask my guy tomarrow if he can look for a release date on the whole season. He is playing a Mando in my Star Wars d20 game so I will offer him bonus xp if he can get me a firm date by 4pm tomarrow.

I know the whole season is set to be released soon, I got the first four episodes and the only thing they had on the DVD was the basic Play all, Scenes, and Set up. I really hope that when they finally release the entire season they include the Decoded as a special feature. I read on StarWars.com that they are going to come out with another set of episodes on DVD before the entire season is released. Also, it's not Nickelodeon, it's Cartoon Network.

You are correct on the Cartoon network I was half asleep when I posted, and reliving my frustration with getting Invader Zim on DVD.

November release date on the Whole season I am to understand that this will coinside with the second season premier and holiday gift giving season. There will be extras galore or so I am told I will continue to update as i find things out.

as a temporary solution i just burned all the episodes to dvd from the hd broadcast versions. not as good as the real thing, but it will tide me over.

i hope they release them on bluray and not just regular dvd. mmmm, high def clones....

I have leeched the whole bunch of the first 22 Episodes (season 1) in mkv - high definition video on my pc.

Although I am from germany I got the american/english originals ...

If there´s any interest, I maybe could burn them on 3 DVDs for anyone who is interested. MKV is a great format for watching them in high def on the pc.

Just don´t know any program that can convert mkv into good hd DVD-Format to watch them on the normal dvd-player.

If anyone knows a prog, please let me know. ;-)

Nero Burning Rom doesn´t get it decoded into any good format ... as far as I tried ...


So 2 points:

a) let me know if anyone knows a prog to decode mkv into dvd-video

b) let´s make an interest list for brothers around who want to have the MKV version of season 1. I just have to charge the shipping and some bucks for the dvds, so it shouldn´t be too much.
If you would like to get it on 3DVDs (MKV to watch on pc!) then post here (or should I open up a new thread for it?).

The program that jumps to my mind is the one I use, called OJOsoft Total Video Converter. I also burned them onto some DVDs, just to compensate for the wait. When they come out, I'm snatching the first season up real quick.
