All Con Dallas - Anybody going?

I plan on making the drive to Dallas for All Con this year for Fri/Sat. Just wonderig if anyone else was planning on attending.

Didn't it used to be in Plano before? I know that Sci-Fi days used to be but will most likely be moved.

Of course it can be within 60 miles of the metroplex and they say it is in "Dallas". Just like the superbowl this year in Arlington.

So Addison is mostly like Dallas. Thanks for the link

No worries. I know what you mean about the whole Dallas/metroplex thing. It's funny when someone just says that they are from Dallas but actually from Frisco or Keller although I suppose that it's a lot easier.
Whats the deal with Addison anyways? The first In 'N Out going into the metroplex will be in Addison.

Addison is just a big commercial district of places to eat and party. It literally has an extremly low population (15k for a metroplex city)of residents but an enormous population of visitors. The daytime population is something like 75K.

I live about 40 miles north of Dallas in a little town of about 3K but if I am talking to someone from outside of the area I just say near Dallas or north of Dallas, because even though I have been to Boerne Tx about as many people know it as they do Van Alstyne where I live. I even know to call it "Burny". Before my dad died we hunted in Kendall county and around Uvalde and down towards Del Rio. I have always liked that area.

And Comfort has had some nice mountain bike races.
