Zons ROTJ Fett Build (pic heavy)

Zon

Active Hunter
I've been at this for just under a year and things are starting to come together so I figured I'd start a build thread.

Thanks everyone! I'm glad this thing is finally coming together. It seemed pretty overwhelming when it started out. A lot of great info on TDH but the best advice was to research and be patient.

Everything is looking sweet man! What paint list did you use for the armor?

As much as I'd like to take credit for the paint job, I commissioned it. Left to my own imagination I'd probably give it a try but since Fett has pretty specific paint and weathering I left it to the professionals.

Someone on this board or someone else you know?

I know he's been on here in the past but I don't think he's too active anymore. I heard about him through a FL garrison friend. Same guy who did the ESB paint on the build that Wes did a couple months ago if you followed his thread.

Put snaps, Velcro and glued the knees last night. I'll probably attach the knees to the flightsuit tonight.

Did a test fitting last night as well to work on armor placement. After seeing the pictures and looking at other reference pics I'm going to raise and rotate the left chest plate a little bit as well as, raise the ab plate. Now I just have to decide if I'm going to attach everything with snaps or magnets.

Looks great man!! The armor really fits you well!

I would also consider bringing the collar up a bit as it should be relatively flush to the neck seal.

Not a problem, if I do that should I try to keep the spacing with everything (i.e. if I move the collar up should I move everything else up the same amount)?

I think by bringing it tighter together in general will be a big help. The gap between the collar and the two top chest pieces is the bigger gap.
