You should pm slave1pilot (I think that's how you spell it... sorry if incorrect). I hear he does full costumes (and happens to be a big fan of the ROTJ Fett )! Don't know his price range though.

Sorry slave1pilot if I speak out of turn... Hope this helps you out!

Awesome. I sent him a PM and hopefully he gets back to me. If he doesn't I'm still open to offers or more opinions.

I think he lives on the West Coast too. That'd work out nicely

Your better off buying piece by piece than commissioning a full suit some people make better armor some make better soft parts it's all about research you may have money left over with a great looking Fett too

I've been thinking about buying piece by piece but I don't have anyone to paint the armor. I'm not very good at it and I want it to be perfect. :/

well, slave1pilot doesn't actually make any of the pieces, he's a painter; a **** good one. helmets, armor, gauntlets, jetpacks, even the weathering on the soft parts. and he knows who to contact to get pretty much everything. but it's going to cost you a lot more than $2500.

When he says alot he means ALOT, a full ROTJ suit with all the trimmings is going to take MANY man hours. If you find one for less than 3k its not gonna be very accurate. Nor made with quality parts be careful what your buying if you look at ebay or people like starfortress and such.

I did get your PM, but I'll answer in this thread instead so that others might have the same info that I would give you.
Please take a few moments to read through this thread:
    http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/f22/n...l-spend-17421/
While it is an older thread (and the prices are no longer relevant ) It is still a good source to see what parts are actually involved in a Quality Boba Fett Costume.
I am currently doing a full build for a customer. You cane see the progress in this thread:
    http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/f20/s...c-heavy-43964/

Like saint nasty said, I don't create the parts, but I do assemble and paint everything. I also know who to go to in order to get the very best parts available.
That being said, I'm not cheap and you will pay for the convenience of having me do the legwork.
You can acquire your own parts too, and send them to me for painting as your budget allows. Heck, I even take payments. But I don't ship until it's paid for
There are less expensive painters than myself, and there are varying levels of accuracy and quality. I fully support anyone who decides to tackle it themselves as well.
I guess I just saying that there are many options.

Ok, let's get back to the actual question at hand.
Can I put a Boba Fett costume together for you (minus the helmet, boots, etc. that you mentioned in your PM) for $2500?
    No. I can not.
Parts alone will exceed that amount, and then adding my labor on top of it will at least double your budget.

Thanks for the great feedback. I just sent you a PM asking about where I can acquire the armor parts.

I would recommend Bobamaker at this time.
He makes high quality Fiberglass armor that is quite durable.
    bobamaker: Boba Props
If you have a painter lined up, he can ship directly to the painter to save you on shipping costs since it comes ready for paint.
