Has anyone ever attempted to make a working rangefinder? I just came across this video of someone who is trying to develop a rangefinder for use on drones. Looks like it would fit in the Boba Fett Rangefinder with a bit of reconfiguration. Not sure if there would be issues with the laser but its still pretty interesting.

That was what i was worried about. I know they do tiny sonar range finders too.

I think what I'd most like to do is mount a small video camera and screen in it so i could make videos while trooping. I am not savvy in electronics unfortunately but I am sure you can get video screens on watches these days that would fit.

Hmmm... maybe cannibalizing an iPhone 6s camera, or a go pro silver would be nice. Who's up for the challenge?

All I can think of watching this is how my Mom always had to tell me I was too close to the tv on Saturday mornings.

This product is very interesting as a display that is probably small enough to stick in the rangefinder

I've been trying to figure out how to incorporate my Recon Jet glasses into my helmet or rangefinder. There's apps that work with BT, and many other things, so who knows.
