Wookie Braids???

Hey everyone. Well, I got a set of ROTJ wookie braids (unfortuantly not Julie's) but still a decient set regardless. Well right now I have just long locks of hair that are all tied as I think they are suppose to go. So here is my question....How did you guys attack the braids? I was thinking safty pins but any other options? Also, I know some are looped under Fetts arm, are all of them or only a select group? Looked at some Refs and kind of clustered so really couldn't seperate where one loop is or if there is one at all. But any help woudl be great and also pics woudl work. Take care and talk to you all soon.
cheers!

These are the 2 different ways I suggest to attach the braids:

1. With the safety pin:

or

2. With just using some heavy thread or artificial sinew (whatever you have available) - one of the braids should be looped for this to work best:

Hope that helps!

I did mine like this dude...

It's post #1 and if you scroll down to the 14th picture you'll see a closeup of his shoulder area and there are grommetts. I did a group of 4 grommetts. Two about an inch over the center seem towards the back and two towards the front. Then I used a short clear zip tie and ran it through the braids so you can't see it. I have the bulky side under and inside the shoulder as well so no one sees it.

Great!! That is exactly what I was looking for some different methods of attachment. Thanks for the suggustions. Also off hand is there a defined braid number that is looped in an ROTJ version? or is it just one looped and the rest drapped? Thanks again!
Cheers!
