WIP: Roninson ESB Boba build thread (updated)

Took some pics of my ESB build from over the weekend. I didn't get all the pics I wanted, but these were enough to tell me what adjustments are needed.

Also worth mentioning, I live in a pretty small place (thus my relative size to the door I'm standing in front of - I'm not that tall :D).

And some Halloween day ones (sidearm is attached to the ammo belt on these - thus the sliding of the belt to one side):

For my "needs improvement" list are:

- Thigh pouches should be smaller/raised up
- Slack taken up in the gauntlet hose
- Additional weathering on the flightsuit
- Need chin skirt still
- Further dyeing of cape (to be made darker)
- Take in vest shoulders slightly

Any additional feedback on the build or adjustments would be welcome.

Thanks!

That is a beautiful suit brother! One of the things I really think you nailed, is making sure everything fits correctly. It all looks spot on together, and I think it is one of the best suits around. Fantastic work m'man! :)

Awesome setup! I like how the soft parts fit you (this is often wrong on most of the suits) and I agree with the darkening of the cape, because its colors are too light. This is one of the best ESB suits I saw lately! Excellent job!

Thanks for the feedback, brothers (and kudos as well!). Yep, some tweaking to do still (seem to find something new each time I look over the shots). Once I make the additional adjustments, I asked a photog friend to take a few more pics.

F4R: Yep, the gloves could definitely use some light weathering on the back.

Raf: Agreed. From the ESB hero shots, the cape looks nearly chocolate brown in color.

Hey Roninson, It has all been said before but.... You have done an amazing job! Your helmet is unbelievable, your suit is incredible and nicly weathered. Totally jealous of your skills bro! :) (y)

This looks great. So looking at your setup can oyu confirm the girth belt is brown as opposed to red? I always wonder what colour it should be.

Thanks, gents! Much obliged!

Like most of the materials, and from my experience, the girth belt shifts in color depending on the lighting. However, it definitely leans towards red (perhaps a bit too much). I may dye it a bit more brown when I darken the cape.
