WIP: My ROTJ Gloves

Hey guys, here is my own stab at the ROTJ gloves. I still have the other fingers to work on and getting the wrist bands velcroed or buttoned, and when thats done, the weathering. I would like to know what you guys think of these because they have been very cheap for me to make so far, but labor intensive. I didn't use a sewing machine , but I wanted to try it out without one as well. I do have access to one so if these are a total flop i can start over using one. Tell me what you guys think. I was worried about the color so let me know what you think of that as well (dyed with espresso).

The color is supposed to be light grey not tan. You wouldnt be able to use a sewing machine to do them unless the gloves werent sewn together already. The topstitching around the cuff is great the thumb and finger pieces can be sewn with a whip stitch alot faster and easier. They do look good though just need to be light grey

Ahh ok , thank you. I was going off of these photos, to me it looked tan. I can still dye them and it shouldn't be a problem. The tan is dyed with coffee and after a few washes will come out. But if it still doesn't work, the gloves where $2.50 at a local craft store and the rest was a white pillow case that i picked up for $1.50. Also, are the gloves pictured here from ROTJ? Or am I just not seeing them right. Not meant as sarcasm, it is real and genuine interest.

Those are ROTJ gloves in the pictures. The Gauntlets are the giveaway. ;)

Nice gloves btw. Do need to be lighter but otherwise they look really good. I'm in need of a pair actually...

Great craftsmanship on those gloves but like others have said, they should be a weathered, light gray, not tan.
