WIP My 1st attempt of armor

Hi all just wanted to say what a fantastic place this is.

Ive currently just started my Armor using just a blue tote delivery box which ive aquired at my work, hope you enjoy the pics this my 1st time and as im skint can only use what I find lol. I cut the templates thanks to Wizard out with a jigsaw then used a heat gun to bend the shoulder bells duct tape them to bricks keep the shape then heated the chest and stomach plates

Then sprayed the armor black then green would have prefered to have used metallic silver as undercoat but had no money so i'll dry brush silver on later

Sprayed shoulder bells then done the medallion and cut the readout for chest adding the decals. This is far as Ive got still more work to be done hope everyone enjoys

hey bud! it looks like you're off to a good start. Basic shape looks good and accurate, got a nice emblem on the shoulder (ROTJ/SE style) and chest piece, and I like the base color you got laid out.

However, The breast and belly plate look like they have three very distinct faces. If you could some how even the curve of those plates, I'd say you're on the right track to making a great set of armor. Keep it up!

thanks for the positive comments yeah the belly was my fault causing the 3 effect due to being in a vice as didnt have heat gun at time I'll prob cut another piece. with the breast i'll flatten it out
