:jet pack
I have seen posts by a few who mentioned it,
I'm curious how many are scratchbuilding their own Jet Pack?
Are you guys going for 100% accurate or something that looks good and fits well?
(A screen-accurate scaled Jet Pack may be too small for most people since Mr. Bulloch wasn't a very big or tall guy)
I'm going to make my own.. luckily I'm only 6 ft ( or according to the Ripleys museum 6ft 2 " ) so the movie sized one should be alright. I'll be trying to make it as accurate looking as possible but the colours might be hit and miss :)
Isn't Mr. Bulloch about 5'11" or shorter ?
Years ago when I met him he was shorter than me.
The boots and helmet add a few inches.
Jeremy was 6' at the time of filming. He may have shrunk a little bit since.Quote:

I'm on my 3rd pack and currently I am doing insane mods to a MB2 kit. I haven't touched it in a a couple of months but recently thawd it out of hibernation. The mods are to make it a little bigger all around and create sharper edges on the main body so it's just a little more accurate. I'll get it finished on of these days and post some pics!
I scratchbuilt mine. It's in the showoff thread near the bottom. I wasn't going to crazy screen accurate when doing it, but I think it turned out alright!
