Where to start? Can't find it...

Hi to all at TDH!

My name is Luis and I'm a member of the Philippine 501st.

I can't find the thread on newbies in making Boba armor/costume.

i don't know where to start..

I currently have a Sgt.Fang unpainted helmet..bare.. that's it

I want to know where i can find armor,suit,blaster, backpack etc.. to get me going and to know how much i have to shelf out

Please help a fellow fan!

Spend a couple of hours surfing around the forum. All your questions and more will be answered by doing a little research! (But Plan to spend $3000 - $4000).

Read and search this forum, you will find everything you need.

Have you decided which VERSION you going to make for your first FETT? PP1, PP2, ESB, ROTJ, or ROTJ SE??

The problem with your helmet is solved: you already have a Sgt. Fang helmet. If you want to paint the helmet yourself then you can find some paint stencils here and you can follow a couple of threads where some of the most talented artist show you their technic on how to paint.

For the other parts of the Boba Fett gear there are lot's of resources here, mostly made by Alan (WizardOfFlight)
Jet Pack, Blasters, Belt, Buckle and Shin Tools Templates
All Soft Parts Templates and Tutorials
Armor Templates

Pls help me make my decision, I just need opinions to help me choose which fett i'd like to build.. ROTJ or ESB.

I know it might be a sensitive topic and must have been discussed about a thousand times but I just need a little input..

Here is my Dillemma,

I really like the ROTJ version coz:
-It looks easier to build ( newbie thoughts here )
-I like the flight suit color..light grey as compared to light blue for the ESB ver.
- have access to a fiberglass blaster kit at a cheap price (pls give me the pros and cons for FG)

I also like the ESB ver coz:
- I like the ESB movie more than ROTJ
- I like Bobas extra blaster on his belt
- I recently acquired an ESB Fett Pride V3 Body armor.

Now id like to ask if i can CONVERT my Fett pride ESB armor to ROTJ ver? Will painting it with the right colors do? Or do I have to worry about the dents on the armor not being ROTJ?

Go with what ever you prefer , as every one know the PP2 is by far the best Fett outfit, and there are only a couple of full PP2s out there
but most people go for ROTJ , SE (which is basicly ROTJ suit with the ESB helmet) ,
I dont think any are harder than the other there all aboiut the same skill level to do the right ,
as for painting the ESB armour in ROTJ is it the full set or just the chest armour , there are a few differences dents between them just study the pics of the 2 different armour,
or consider selling the armour you could get another FP armour or there is a maker RedKraytedragon who does full sets of ROTJ armour(all the hard parts) at a good price
As for the fiberglass blaster , it defends on what it looks like if it looks good then it should be fine
