WHAT SHALL I MACHINE NEXT???

Hey Russ,

I'm glad your taking suggestions, I think I've got a good one for ya', and very relevant to everyone's needs, how about machining a "BORDEN DENTAL PLUG", just ready to install into a helmet, no need to buy the piece first and then go ahead and cut it down. Aluminum rod with the 3 holes drilled in it, with a trim rim ring on the backside as a stopper. What's yours and everyone else's thoughts?

:cheers

ESB Sidearm barrels.

...but how about doing movie accurate JP harness hooks?

Or how about a replica divers buckle?

I like all of these suggestions. (y)

Jango blasters would be great but I imagine they'd be a pain to machine, unless your talking cad programmes and a 5 axis mill? Hang on I have those things at work, what am I doing wasting my time lining my bosses pockets!!

Hi guys !! I dont know where to start lol!!! Blasters will be a lot of hassle, I can do the handles!!

But all the other ideas I am open, We need to get some drawings done and I'll get to work :cheers

HIT ME......

Russ

Aside from the handles, what we'd love to see machined would be the power cell unit at the back of the barrel section and the barrel tip.

The barrels them selves could be made with relative ease, in comparison to the afore mentioned parts that is. ;)

The Pre-Pro 2 Fett flame units on the left gauntlet. or just the tips of them.

Thanks, Seeker. I get about one decent idea a month. I think these flamethrower units look very menacing, kind of how a bayonet on a rifle adds a little something to it.

BTW, I think these would be great for Custom Mandos as well as Pre-production Fetts.

maybe he could make the whole thing adjustable. try to figure out how to make it come in and out.

a locking spring of some sorth.

If we could count on 12 great ideas a year from you, then we'll be set.

Like, Lucksy31, I think the idea of machining a blaster kit would be great, maybe not an ENTIRE kit, that would be pretty pricey. :wacko You could, however, machine several unique parts, to start, then offer a full kit later. The part that I'd like to see most, for lack of a better term, is the D shaped metal plate on the back of the blaster. See pic.

This is a close-up of the section I'm talking about. This one is TK 409's blaster, BTW. Imagine adding a real metal D plate to a wooden stock, and PVC pipe barrel! :cheers I'm one scratch-builder who would be interested in that! (y)
