Wes' ESB Fett Build

Here's a little update before the big one next week... I finished one of April Storm's 3D printed sidearms. Came in 4 pieces of hollow plastic. Really light and good for trooping (or so I think). Here is a before and after comparison.

And here it is in my real nemrod.

Great work, can't wait to see this finished. I need to get my but in gear to get my build done.

I'm done! Since I took this pic I attached my butt plate and thong. Taking app pics tomorrow night and will post those too! Let me know what you think!

Nice job Wes!!! Looks amazing!

It fits you very well!

Only comments I have is I would dirty up the bottom of the cape and your vest a smidge.

All in all - pretty stellar man!

Thank you guys! Completely forgot to weather the cape. Vest is weathered but hard to see in pics.

The harness is amazing. I can't feel the jetpack at all.

WOW!! Fantastic. It really looks amazing and you should be proud. One thing, don't forget the red paint on the sides of the jetpack thrusters. Very easy to do.

Looks killer man! Only thing, and I know its nitpicky, is the collar armor looks like it might be spaced to far from the chest armor...kinda a big gap there but it might just be me or the camera or whatever. Looks outstanding! Love the weathering, kinda like mine lol.

The suit looks amazing and you wear it like a true Fett!

Who did the cape? It looks pretty good, but it also look a bit small and it is wrongly attached at the end of the cape. The attachment point is halfway between the end of the brown strip and the end of the cape. Here is my template as a guide:

Whoa! Nice esb fett wes! Btw how tall are you? I'm 5'8 and i also have RKD's armor. Need to figure out how I'm gonna work with it since its based off of WOF's large temps..

Thanks Raf. Means a lot.

The cape was by Woodman. I feel like it's a good size but it didn't come with any hole in it so I just assumed it was in the corner. I'll be sure to fix that soon.

Thank you! I'm 6'3". Sounds like his armor might be a bit big on you. A buddy of mine is your height and has RKD and his looks good because he did ESB so the plates were close together.

I had my first outing a couple weekends ago at Tampa Bay Comic Con and let me just say I had a blast!! 7.5 hours straight in costume so I was pretty excited to get out of it afterwards haha. Found a few things I need to adjust here and there so it was a good learning experience.

Here are some shots of the event:

I still need to figure out how to get my ankles to stay up. I think the legs on my flight suit are a bit long. Maybe I can tuck them in the boots and let them hang over? Anyways, let me know what you guys think!!
