Webley...Rubber EE-3 Blaster

Someone been in the rubber room to long!!

Personally, I like the rubber flash for a few reasons:
1. It makes MY life easier
b. It's a little beefier with the thickness than just an empty thin wall tube.
d. It will hold up to a lot more punishment than a metal flashtube. No worries about someone else handling your gun or anything.

1,b,d? Whatever.

Okay. I've repainted the flash tube with a higher brightness silver paint. A DBU to be exact. I air brushed it in areas to give it a patchy glimmer. Again, the flash on the camera drowns it out.

Now that is absolutely amazing!
Just when I thought you couldn't improve on it...You o ahead and brighten the barrel! Man that looks so damn real!

Wow John, you have absolutely outdone yourself! I'm sitting here at work with a big puddle of drool on the keyboard. The rubber flash tube looks better than I could have imagined. I cannot wait to get my hands on this baby. Thank you so much for your hard work and dedication to making such a perfect replica.

Thanks again for the compliments. Like I said before, I couldn't have done it without the guys that loaned me their gun parts and the help of all you guys. It's far from perfect but I think it will be great for trooping and costuming at events and such.

These are ready for production minus the greeblies. This weekend we start knocking these suckers out. Hopefully, we will have the V8 engine parts by then. I need to mold it and pound those out. Other than that, they go into production this weekend.

OMG!! This EE-3 has turned out to be a true Beauty, John! And I think the flashtube looks excellent cast in rubber (y) (y) (y). I wish I had posted on the progress of this earlier, but everyone else has been pretty much saying everything that's been needed to be said before I could type it out.:) I can't wait to see this thing finished!:love Truly it's a work of art!

Well gentlemen, assuming that I receive the V8 part by the weekend, this project should be complete. Regardless, production WILL begin this weekend. Target ship dates are February 14 & 15.
