General The Wayback Machine: Build Your Own Boba Fett

When I was in college (1997-2000), most of my parts were from Mark Bradley. It was great stuff!
Richie's Armor supplied my backplate and codpiece, and Goldenarmor supplied my rifle.
I had a few Don Post helmets (1 '95, 2 '97s).
Good times!

Disneys armor is MB stuff...for the stunt show etc...I know one guy who still has a MB jetpack and loves it even though there are more accurate available now...

I'm new to the costuming/prop world and love the history.. I'm getting some MB armor from Honker and a jet pack with some MB parts... excited!! .. on another note ...i love the Chewbacca in the Gallery section

That was THE website years before TDH even existed. I read that thing many times "back in the day", and ordered my Mark Bradley armor set when I first built my Boba costume in 1999. While all my armor is now Fettpride, to this day I'm still trooping with Bradley's shin tools and yes, his version 1 vacuumformed jetpack as shown on that website. Someday I will get a new jetpack since it's the last big piece I have yet to upgrade.....but it still works. Weighs about 9 pounds and doesn't have cool sharp looking piano keys, but it still looks like a jetpack to people. I did my first Boba event at a comic con in October 1999, so I've been trooping that same pack for almost 14 years now.

Full set of all armor with resin knee darts, shin tools and chest/shoulder stickers, as well as the jetpack...ran $315.

Here's a picture of the jetpack, taken just over 2 months ago. The armor is Fettpride and the helmet is a Marrow Sun version 3 fiberglass. The helmet in my avatar pic is my old Don Post '96 - which even after the avatar pic was taken, I got a correct Fettpride ROTJ rangefinder and earcap for. Boba's are never done, as we all know too well.

Wow this post is bringing me back. My first kit was from Bradley and those two sites were about all there was for reference guides and buying stuff.................**** I'm getting old.

I'm now on to my third suit and I'm glad this place is here. Should make it easier this time. Wish I never sold the first two. Oh well, Third times the charm.

Yeah, I used this guys site extensively for my first Fett 10 years ago, but it never got any farther than a Don Post vinyl with great rattle can paint job! lol

On second thought, maybe it was that Jon Skaines site!

I actually ordered my costume pieces mostly from Mark. I just pulled it out of mothballs. It's in bad shape after being in a box for almost 20 years. :(
