Want to build a cod piece

Hi ppl

i have searched using the search engine and can not find what i am after. A while back i read a thread on scratch building a cod piece, the guy had photo's throughout the process and really good directions. However i can't find it now and i need to build mine, but need guidance.

can anyone help
