Im new and I hope this is ok to post here, but I created an account pretty much to share this weeks find with you (bc I know y'all would appreciate it most!). Say hello to this beautiful vintage Folmer Graflex "Telescope" flash! It could be cleaned up a bit, but I was too excited about it, so I just had to take the pictures immediately The only thing that takes away the sweetness of this find is the fact it didnt come with the red button. Wow, that's pretty great. If I could track one of those down I'd give real consideration to a supertrooper Uzi build. Sweet.

The seller just sent me the "telegraph" button as well! Anyone know how to attach it to the hinge without harming either the button or the flash? Thanks in advance.

Does it not just slip in?

Perhaps you'll need to gently open the clasp a bit and then gently bend it back?

It doesn't seem like it would snap in. And I'd hate to bend it and then bend back, but it might be the only way. Good thinking. Thanks for the response!

The hole has been modified/slotted. The lever piece attached to the tube acts as a spring. You would need to depress that as you install it. Also looks like you would have to pry the one ear a bit or push it in at an angle

Use the tip of a flat head screwdriver between the clasp and the telegraph slightly rotating the screwdriver to the right, thus allowing the tip to snap into the clasp hole:
