Victory Canter Girth belt question

i mentioned this in another thread but i'm posting in a separate one for this...As you can see in the picture below, I bought a size 40 girth belt and even though my waist is 35-36 it doest reach all the way around to connect in the back...also the buckles on both sides of the belt are the exact same so there isnt a way to connect them even if it did reach all the way...so is the belt supposed to clasp together in the back or is it attached to the ammo belt somewhere and if so how are you guys who are using the victory canter girth belts modifying them to work? signed, confused

That is the right. Remember this is designed to attach to a saddle on both sides. It was never meant to be a costume piece. If you look at the pics of Boba from the back you will see a gap between the two ends, and the prop guys have attached straps to connect the ends. I used 1 inch nylon straps. I attached one end permanently and used the buckle on the other end.

ahh kk...i saw a pic from a display boba but wasnt sure if that was just the way they set it up for display or not...so what is that a piece of elastic? and the buckles just kinda hang there...cool thanks mullreel, i couldnt find a great picture of the back besides the one i said, and the one from the Boba Fetts Armor:An essential guide to a walking weapon which i have as my desktop wallpaper but it doesnt have a good angle to see how it connected

sorry to sound dumb but since I'm starting my Boba build, I was caught off guard by this too:lol: So you just punch a hole in nylon and that's all there is to it?
