Vest run info

A few of you have PMed me about sewing your vests. After discussing it with SGB, I am offering my services for this run. If you decide to have me sew your vest, please let SGB know to send your fabric to me!

The price will be $60.00 USD per vest, shipping included. I prefer PayPal, but will also accept money orders (no personal checks!).

I offer these vests in four basic sizes: M (38-40), L (42-44), XL (46-48 ) and XXL (50-52). In other words, if you wear a Large T-shirt, then a Large vest should fit you fine. I’m using 1 ½” Velcro for the closure, so there is plenty of ‘wiggle’ room for individual size adjustment. At this time, I am NOT doing custom orders.

The liner is made of a standard bottom-weight fabric, usually grey or white, depending on whatever I have available. The sleeves are quilted with 3/4" stitch lines, and the front side of the vest is padded.

I do not add strap-holes or Velcro to the vest, as many people have different preferred attachment methods. These alterations can be done by most any local seamstress or alterations shop.

I also offer these either WITH or WITHOUT the lower jet pack attachment cutout. Please specify which you prefer when you order.

I apologize, but at this time, I do not produce neckseals.

Ok we have reached the 20 yards....With this company once I reach the 20 yard minimum I can buy more in 6 yard increments so if anyone else wants some lmk...this doesnt mean you have to order 6 yards but rather 2 people ordering 3 yards each would work...im going to let this ride for a few more days and see what happens so if you want some get it now.

Just called she said it was shipped Fed ex ground last week??? she said she will call me with more specific details like actaul date of shipping and tracking info.....

OK folks first off thanks for your patience on waiting for this to come in and giving me time to divy it up. all material has beeen divided up and packed and everyone should have their material by the weekend.If your material was sent to Batninja then he will have it.
What i did is cut everyones amount and put them in seperate bags with your name and the amount so batninja can keep track of who gets what.If you ordered a neck seal from me then i took out the amount i needed and sent the rest either to you or Bat...anyone confused yet? lol
If possible please post here once your material has arrived.
I also have had several pms about doing another bulk order run. I have no problems doing it again if we can meet the minimum.-Jason

I'm in for a second run if you do it, seems like everytime one of these happens, I'm broke. How much is spoken for so far? I'll do a little extra maybe if needed to get to the 20 yard minimum.

What i want to do is wait a few days until everyone on the first run gets their material in. once that happens I think it would be best to open a new thread so there isnt any confusion.sound good?

I'd like to get in on this run of material and BatNinja sewin' them up too, if at all possible. So, hopefully that second run will be happening soon!

Also just a note I compared this new material to the swatch bat sent me and its identical!

I'd certainly be interested to be put on the list for the secound run.

This may be a stupid question but, when making the vest, is the shiny side out or in?

Shiny side out for the vest and dull side out for the neckseal.

Just curious, The color of the material is a very light blue gray. I take it that this is the accurate color for the vest?
In some photos I've seen, the vest looks more like an off white.
Just wondering.

I think most people use the off-white for ESB, but I could be wrong.

Aside from that, I don't see any blue in there. By the way, folks, fabric arrived! I will start on the vests immediately!

I am a little color blind. So the light grey vest with a little darker gray jumpsuit (Skygunbro ROTJ jumpsuit to be exact) works for ROTJ?

BTW Bat, thanks for all of the input. If it were'nt for you, Jason and all the rest of the nice people here at TDH, I would have never gotten off the ground with my Fett suit!

Yes, that color scheme sounds about right. I personally like the grey/tan ROTJ jumpsuit shade, as seen in the Visual Dictionary.

Ok so looks like some have gotten material...now Bat you use the dull side out for the vest and the shiny side out for the neck? lmk cause I have one custom sized vest im doing and a few neck seals...
Maybe its just my eyes but in the pics ive seen of your and the real fett vest it looks like the shiny side is out but dulled a bit due to the weathering?
Also I am opeing up a second run of material same as last time ill open a new thread so if you missed out or want more heres you chance.
