Vest Pics?

I used regular the 'hook' side of sticky-back Industrial Velcro for the back of the armor. Once that stuff sits on there for a few days, it does NOT come off!

For the vest, I used the 'loop' side of sew-on version of Industrial Velcro.

The good thing is that you get a strong hold, but you waste as much Velcro as you use. My machine doesn't like sewing the 'hook' side of regular Velcro (too many tension snags), so I don't even use it. I end up throwing all the scraps away.

i know that feeling. that's what i did with my armor too. in the end you have the worst half of both kinds of velcro to store safely in your favorite waste receptacle.

yup that's what I needed, I have a question though. Do I have to sew it on or can I just use the sticky stuff like you did on the armor? Would that hold?

I doubt it. After a couple washing, I would bet that the sticky stuff will come out. Also, I'd recommend NOT sewing over the sticky stuff, as it will gum up the sewing needle (experience here).
