Hey bud, good find!
The ridge detail to the back I have not seen before, could be a variant, or could be slightly different. Hard to tell if the front flap is too long from the photo, if you can give it a measure I can compare it.
Even if it is not the exact one, it is very close indeed.
Rob.
Hey Rob,
Good to hear from you...
Regarding my last email, let me know when you want me to send funds etc.... I'm starting to get excited now as my armour arrived today, well it's sat in the parcelforce office where I have to pay customs and their silly clearence fee.... not happy... grrr lol
Hey Rob
Ok, here are the particulars:
1. Length of front buckle (with curved front lip) approx 7cm
2. Width of front buckle approx 5.2cm
3. With of curved back lip approx 1/2cm
4. Back of buckle approx 5.5cm2
It shouldnt have the stamped recess in the back, but hey ho who cares for £3 what a bargain, the recess wont be seen anyway matey. I paid £45 ish for mine, so its quite a difference in price![]()

OK, here's the latest dumb newb question from me...
Is it worth looking around Army/Navy stores here in the States for a passable US divers buckle? Thanks so much.
Yes its worth looking. I got mine from an old harness I made them dig out of the basement of my local scuba shop. $5 for the whole rig and I just needed the buckle.
Oh, so it's more of a SCUBA/diver's thing than a US military thing... I don't know why I assumed that.
Thanks!
