UPDATED PRINTABLE ARMOR TEMPLATES - In various sizes

Glad you like them. I have maade templates for nearly all of BF gear, knee armor, helmet, blasters Prepro/ESD/ROTJ, ESB flame thrower, as well as gaunlets, to name a few. I also have patterns for some of the soft part. So if there is something you need they're here somewhere. If you are having trouble locating them just drop me a PM and I'll get you hooked up.

Welcome to the Dent!

having issues with the gauntlet files. they print really really small. what settigns should i use to print them from Adobe Acrobat?

i don't know about the armor ones, but i just printed the rangefinder templates last night. as far as i know, printing will vary from computer to computer and printer to printer.

the RF ones have some scaling information printed right on the pages. you need to adjust your settings until the actual print size matches the scale on the paper.

so if there's a mark that says it should be 1/2 inch, but yours is 1/4, print at 200%. if you have something that says it should be 1" and it prints at 2", then print it at 50%. i think it's a trial and error thing...

hmmm ,posting in decending BH numerical order are we?

:)

anyway, the knees I found on here print large enough to fit godzilla, and i cannot re-scale with this printer. i SWORE there was a proper sized pattern for standard printers. no?

:lol:At least yours are printing out. Every time I try to print the Jango armor templates my printer spits out the first page then stops, but then I am quite dense:eek:

All of the template sets are scaled to print out on standard 8.5 X11 Paper (unless it states it is for A4 size paper). You need to use the "FIT TO PAGE" option in your graphics program or in Acrobate, if it's a PDF file. That should force the templates to print out normal size.

All of the armor templates have a scaling sheet included in each set for fine tuning the printing process. It is 5" X 5".

Let me know how that work out.

I just checked out MS Paint - in order for it to print correctly

1. go into the "Page Setup" window under "File"
2. make sure that "Fit to" (lower right hand corner) is checked and that it say "1 page By 1 Page" that will force it to print out corrrectly.

Or you can play with the % line above but using "Fit to" worked for me every time,

BUT you have to make sure you reset it for every page you want to print otherwise MS Paint will default back to the jumbo size. As you can see MS Paint is a pian to use.

Most likely it say your "Fit to" reads something like "7 pages by 6 Pages" which is 42 pages YOU DON'T want that.

Check it out and see what happens and let me know.

All...

My domain name went defunct on the 4th, so the templates I'm hosting have disappeared for the moment. I'm in the process of finding another host and obtaining a new domain, since my old host cancelled my account *and* has held onto my domain (I've had this happen three other times. Can anybody recommend a good, long-term host? If so, PM me, please). Once I have the new domain and server set up, I'll get with WoF to get the templates re-hosted. I'm sorry for any inconvenience.

Easiest way I found to print them was to open in Windows Picture and Fax Viewer (for XP and Vista), and print at 100% from there (it works for me, as I needed them on UK A4 size). This has pretty much given me the templates in the right size. I downloaded the medium sized ones as I'm 5'8"
