Update on Scratch from WoF's plans

What... 3.5 years is like, um, a long time between posts? :D

I had to put the project on hold, and I promise my two babies are FAR more beautiful than my jet pack! :D

I'm getting back into things now, and I think I'm going to finally start on the pack body. I just made a cardboard mock-up to remind myself how they all fit together.

I'm currently working on the gauntlets for now, but I like to bounce around from piece to piece. I'll post some new pics as I have them ready.

Well, no "real" progress on the pack just yet, but I made a tiny scale mock-up, just to see how all the parts fit together. Thought I'd share it. It's a bit goofy looking, and looks like a tape explosion, but gave me the idea I need on how to assemble once I've got the parts cut out.

Question: Did you print out the jet pack blueprints on standard 8X11 paper, or did you go to Kinkos and get them to print it on their huge paper? Only reason I ask is I'm starting on a costume (Jodo though) and downloaded WOF's BP's and didn't know how big I needed em.

Well, I'm in Advertising Pre-press, so I have access to large format printers. I printed my templates out on an HP Design Jet 36" wide printer. So yeah, I'd say bring 'em to kinkos. I find cutting and pasting 8.5x11 pages to be a nuisance.

how much would it cost to print out at kinkos and post to australia we dont have big places like that here not for the public anyway
