Unseen Cape Details?

So, I just got back from Star Wars The Exebition in Sweden, and I must say, WOW that was AWESUME.

They had one of the original Rotj Fett costumes there, and I got a good chance to go around and take a lot of pictures for my personal archive (or anyone elses if you need them)

When taking these pictures, I noticed some detalils around the cape attachment I've never seen before.
What so you think of it? Seems the cloak is connected to the collar, and not the backpiece by two screws, or maybe both to the collar and the backpiece. I'm by no means a fett-expert, so I'll leave it to you

If you saw the front side you would have noticed a small strip of what I think to be plastic that the cape is screwed too...
It could aid in the 'drape' or support of the cape?
the cape is still only held in place by the keyboard key ;)

Is it possible it's just part of the original tent piece? On the other hand, on Mojo-Fetts pic, there looks to be two nuts underneath there though.

Just to recap, the piece in question is from the Preproduction 1 suit which had a clasp on the right side of the color armor that this piece (the prong is now broken off) clipped into to hold the cape across the chest. You can see an image of this piece here:

Preprodcution 1 Boba Fett Cape Clasp

Do you guy think this was used for esb fett. And if it was used what would you think?

There is no indication of it being used (with purpose) on any costume beyond the Preproduction 1 costume. Clearly it has been reused at the exhibits, but as the Empire Strikes Back cape appears to be an entirely different style of cape and there is no photo evidence to support it, my guess would be that this piece isn't present on the ESB cape.

Sure it´s not just part of the original tent piece?

Nope. The original US military shelter half has grommets but nothing like this piece.
