Two ESB blaster questions

1. What size should the non-welded "o" rings be that go on the sling swivels?

2. What would be a good color stain for a wood stock?

1. I got some chromed shower curtain rings from lowes that would fit 3/4 inch rod, so about an inch, I think. They fit my BBF sling just perfectly.

2. I used cherry stain, six or seven coats, then did a couple coats of dark walnut, I am really happy with how it came out

I don't know about the first question. I am not at home to measure them, but I will when I get home tomorrow if no one else chimes in.

As far as the stain goes it depends on the wood that the stock is made from. Is your stock made of walnut? I have used teak oil/tung oil in the past with good results too.

I will be getting a BBF sling... not sure of the wood the stock is made from.

Webley has half inch ID rings and walnut stock.
