TK-409 LIGHTS

OK, so I'm going to order some TK-409 chest lights, but I wanted to know 2 things first.

1) I've heard of the acetate stuff that's supposed to go over the board. What color should it be, and where can I get it?

2) Is the acetate supposed to be one clean piece that goes over the whole face of the board and then secured to my chest piece?

Pics will help a ton!

Thanks guys!

Go to hobby lobby.I just went there and found some of that material.I think it was a couple aisles over from the model cars.It is fairly thin so you may want to double it up.I generally use green faceshields for my slot windows.
I adhere it to the inside of the armor plate so that the display just sits against it.I would not adhere it to the display itself. You would not want to ruin it incase you need to sell for some reason.

I used a few black frames from the tail of an old 35mm motion picture film roll for the trailer of Return of the Jedi 1997 special edition. Perfect width weirdly enough.

Whatever you use, just glue or tape it to the backside of the armor to make your window.
