Greetings All. I have been waiting a long time to start this build, but before I get rolling here I just wanted to say a huge thanks to everyone here on TDH for sharing all your hard work, expertise, wisdom and experience, as well as all the different props and parts makers that have inspired me to actually go through with this. Please feel free to chime in at any time during this build, good or bad (I can take it!). Every little bit of constructive criticism will help me a lot!

    Now let's get started.

Over the last year or so I have been buying, selling parts and collecting pieces for the costume; here are some pictures of what all I have accumulated up to this point:

First is the bucket! I am going to attempt to paint this beauty up myself (wish me luck!)

Next up we have the rangefinder and the different parts for it.

Then we have the diver's buckle, and the 3D Printed Shin Tools

    the Knee Darts:

    Gauntlet hoses;

sidearm weapon and holster (lots of repair work needed on these two parts!!)

    Girth and Ammo belts,

    The Cape,

    Horsehair Wookie Braids,

The neck Seal and Flak Vest, almost hate to have to dirty these up!!

    Gloves,

    Flight suit and side pouches,

The boots with 3D printed spikes,

    the EE-3 blaster,

Last, but not least, the jet pack, (currently themed for my Mando Merc costume!)

That is all for right now. I will update as I go and when other bits and parts/pieces start showing up.

That is quite the collection. It looks like you're well on your way.
FWIW, I'm always interested in the maker of the various parts to see who makes what and where people get their stuff.
Also, is it me, or is that a lot of hoses for ESB?
Good luck. Post lots of pics along the way.

Thank You. The gauntlet hoses were actually leftovers from my Mando Merc build. I may just sell off the rest of them later on.

Check out this thread. It's a little dated but will give you a rough idea. http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/f22/new-tdh-read-about-how-much-you-will-spend-17421/?highlight=parts+price+list

I started a spreadsheet in my progress thread that lists the prices for parts, there's some gaps and they don't include paint ups if you get some commissioned but it'll give you a rough idea!

Greetings Ryan, off-handed I cannot give you a solid total cost. But suffice to say, none of it was cheap, and thank the maker that i have such an understanding wife!!

With all the talented artists and prop makers both here on TDH and other sites it makes it easier for one to "shop around" and gather items needed that will not break the bank. Also, With all the scratch build info on here it is possible to make things yourself for an even cheaper option, depending on your level of prop building skill.

All that being said, I would guesstimate my total for all the things pictured (and some not pictured) to easily be in the thousands (to include shipping).

That is such a good idea Catbread! I wish I would have thought of that.

Hopefully I Will see a lot better once I get the visor in!

speaking of which, I discovered that the visor I now have will not completely cover the top areas near the eyes, not enough overlap.
oh well, back to the interwebs to get a replacement.

Really nice collection of bits you have there, are you leaving the jettpack with that colour scheme or re painting?

Thank You very much. As much as I love it in its current state, The JP will (eventually) be re-painted in ESB the scheme/colors

Got another cool piece for the build in this past week. An Aluminum Borden Connector piece for the bucket.

Started a little work on the shin tools today. Got them all sanded and prepped, ready to paint.

Are those 3D printed, or are they from the real parts?

I wondered. How are the 3D printed shin tools? Is there a reason you picked that option vs getting the real patterson squeegee and stirring tool?
