Hey Hunters!

I was just wondering if any of you had any cool Tips or Tricks for weathering the soft parts. (ie: Jumpsuit, Gloves, Pouches & Spats) I'm in the process of redoing my gear and wanted to see how you guys and gals did it or are doing it. And please don't say... just go roll around in the dirt.... LOL!

Any help or advice would be great!

I am sure you are going to receive many different and very personal ways of weathering your soft parts bhp here is my tuppence worth:

I used Krylon camouflage colours - black, earth brown, khaki, and desert sand. The layers were applied in light mist layers from darkest to lightest using reference photos as a guide. I also used common sense and thought about where dirt would naturally occur such as contact and rub points and the seat of the pants etc. The paint layers can be worked with a soft brush to feather the effect for a more natural finish and layered further to create a deeper dirtier effect. Take it slow, do it in daylight rather than artificial light (fluorescent light is an absolute no no) apply in layers and take a step back regularly to review. I would advise that you apply and reapply over a few days giving you the benefit of fresh eyes and different lighting conditions.

Hope this helps.
