Are these boots workable?

I saw these boots at target and thought that they could possibly work after being painted. Is it possible and how would I make the seams that run along the front of the original boba boots?

Saw those the other day, and thought the exact same thing...My first fett boots were a similar pair from Target. Check out Matty Matts fett build in one of the forums, he made his boots out of the same pair I had which are really close to these. The one big issue with em is the heal...you could either cut it off, or leave it, but you'd need to paint it too. Easy mod though, and they look great for a budget build when done correctly.

If you can;t get a hold of MOW boots you could make these work for you. I took a similar boot and painted it with gray primer. I used GOOP glue to hold down piping in the boot. I used GOOP to glue a foam wedge (taken from an old flip flop) to fill the gap between the heel and sole. Just remember to shape it properly. Here are two thread on my old boots. Sorry there are no other progress pics. But it CAN be done!
