Have a couple of questions about the material:
1. Does anyone have a source for the stuff currently?
and
2. Is it available in different colors other than the light gray we use on the flak vests?
I'm thinking this was the same stuff they made the Greedo outfit and the Luke ceremonial jacket, was it not?
No way. IMO the tackle twill is all wrong. It can't be what they used on the Fett vest, and isn't what was used on Greedo for sure. The screen used materials are very thin. Like a polyester or nylon blend. Tackle twill always ends up way too heavy to have the sort of folding and draping you see in the reference photos. Plus the sheen on tackle twill is also wrong. The sheen needs to be flat and plastic-like. I have yet to see a tackle twill have the correct reflected light response.
