OK I think i'm done with my Pre-Pro 2 knees, please let me know what you think I also need to thank RafalFett for his PP2 knee templets, thanks brother your the best.

    Here's the inspiration.
    knees3-png

And here's my best take of the PP2 knees with found J.A. Michell spike and DarkSide aluminum parts.

    Some close ups
    img_3503-jpgimg_3505-jpgimg_3507-jpg

For the attachments I'm going to use two snaps on the out sides and one on the insides. The straps are adjustable and attached with Velcro.
    img_3509-jpgimg_3510-jpgimg_3511-jpgimg_3512-jpg

I'm happy with the knees but if i had to do them over again I would make many corrections, all good for now hehe

Thanks for checking out my PP2 build, hmmm whats next?

Thanks for the nice words, Syper! I would do some touch-ups to the yellow scratches on the knees, more exactly lighten it up a bit, so you can differentiate it (visually) from the base color. I think a bit of lighter yellow applied with a brush will do its job.

    Keep up the great work!

It did cross my mind, I'm happy you brought it up. after a while sanding and painting over and over one gets a bit stir crazy. so nice to have a fresh set of eyes on hand. thanks Brother I'll make corrections soon but I may need additional assistance / clearification, I'll PM you if thats ok. thanks

Syper this is a great build. I can't wait to see this complete. I know what you mean by getting some constructive criticism & a different set of eyes. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the kind words guys, very appreciated
Starting work on the jetpack, it’s a ROTJ paint, that needs some cleaned up, I'll be adding found parts with DarkSide and JodoKast89 aluminum parts. I’ll take all the advice I can get converting it over to PP2. I'll post pics soon

Thanks again Brothers and Sisters Fetts

Adding these pics as per my conversation with Vargas1138, hope these pics help you Mr.
Sorry the lighting is a bit weak your looking at my MOW PP2 Gauntlets and a Vac-formed PP2 set by an unknown maker (to me).
    Take care.

    Thanks guys

So i was hoping to convert this ROTJ Jetpack I picked up from METALLBOY some time back. METALLBOY did a great job with the build and paint but it did look a bit beat-up, but that in my opinion is what made it look so cool / battle worn. i was hoping color match some ROTJ scratches then apply PP2 damage, marks and weathering. OK here's how it came down.
    jetpack-png

I added some real found parts.
    capture-png

    Here's my DARKSIDE aluminum parts
    aluminum-parts-png

I cut out room for the milled aluminum parts
    44-png45-png46-png

Here's where i realized i couldn't use this pack anymore
    collar-png

My cool *** DARKSIDE collar wasn't going to work with this jetpack D'oh! if i cut the rocket down a bit it just wouldn't look right.

OK looks like I'll need a MOW JP kit for my build after all. I'm going to save the above jetpack for a custom Mandalorian build. Back on the wall she goes.

Have been a PP2 since I was a kid and didn't even know it. I always wondered where the yellow/orange gauntlet came from!
    Looking forward to more.

Over the holidays i found these cool heavy tool totes/cases and i had an idea

    img_3780-jpgimg_3777-jpgimg_3778-jpgimg_3779-jpg

Just a quick update, my MOW-PP2 gauntlet set now feature all known found parts. It was a long shot but i found and have since then added a real Glenross dental expansion screw.
Here's a pic or two with the added Glenross expansion part.
    img_3812-jpgimg_3814-jpg

OK i have a MOW jet pack on the way and I'm looking forward to diving into that build.
    Later guys

Thanks Mr. I'm kinda in a holding pattern ATM, i ordered my MOW jet pack cant wait for that to come in. i'm looking forward to cleaning it up but i was thinking about possibly commissioning out that paint work. That large a piece is a bit intimidating for me, we'll see I'm calling it a game time decision.

OK all parts washed, time to start building. so i was checking out the parts over coffee and i thought i would make things interesting.
    img_4030-jpg
Going with retractable fins albeit manual movement. Rocket is going to be a two piece unit, bottom half screw on and the top portion rare earth magnet attachment. I rounded off the fin tips to assist with movement. I taped a toothpick to the back of each fin to serve as a temporary spacer then i drilled the pivot points. once the holes were drilled i used small nails with cut off heads as setting pins. Also i added small cardboard washers in-between the fins and the rocket sidewalls to stiffen up the movement. Thrusters were trimmed and aluminum pieces fitted.
