What do you guys think? All help accepted.

thanks

I think you need to fix the T visor the taper out at the bottom REALLY bothers me (sorry)
The JP needs to sit higher, and I really dont care for the hinges(maybe paint them) they stick out like a sore thumb

I agree with F4R on each account. You seem to have everything there, it is just a matter of fine tuning it.

Do you have a JP harness? It looks like the JP is pulling everything back and down. Making the collar pull up high on the neck.

Thanks for the feed back fellas. Starting my list

1. the mandibles flared out over time, what do you think is the best way to reform it?
2. I'll paint the hinges white
3. Getting the vest taken in was already in the plans
4. I do have a JP harness and I can take in the slack to help make the JP sit higher. Hopefully that'll help with the pulling on the neck plate.
5. Need to figure out a way to get the hose sit right and not bulge out when my arm is straight. Maybe punch a hole in the jumpsuit? Any advice?

I have a hole in the double sleeve with a small parachute clip sewn in the flightsuit. Then I clip the the hoses to that.

The overall look of the suit is very good, but I have to agree with F4R and Mullreel too. There are also other features that you can incorporate in your suit to be more accurate:

How and where to add the holes in the jumpsuit and vest for the gauntlet hoses and the jetpack frame.

The two dental drills in the back of the helmet, the same drills are (were) on all the Sandy helmets (Pre-Pro #2, Sandy and ROTJ).

All the jetpack fittings and connectors were placed on the bottom of the jetpack, best seen on the Pre-Pro #1/Pre-Pro #3 jetpack, which is the repainted Supertrooper jetpack.

The left gauntlet has two hoses, one attached to the end of the flamethower and the other in the end of the gauntlet (the Pre-Pro #1 suit is the repainted and modified Supertrooper suit). The abdominal plate has the 3 holes in the left down side, while the left shoulder has two triangles, similar to the ones on the front of the helmet and possibly painted in the same color scheme.

I hope this info will help you to do an accurate Supertrooper suit.

Yeah love the cape!

As you know any fett has to be ready at all times and if the super trooper decides he has to take a holiday to the beach, hell have his beach towel ready. jejeje

well done

at stormtrooperguy's recommendation so it doesn't break suspension of disbelief.

I agree with the change from the towel to the white cape. I know the towel is the "accurate" way to go but it hangs way too far down. This could cause him to trip over and we don't want that.

I'm with Fett4Real in that the jetpack can go a little higher. It still looks like it's drooping too far down.

Overall though, it is a vast improvement from the first pic! I think you did a stellar job fixing the helmet flare and the attention to the details in the suit are spot on! Nice Job

Ted:

Nice costume. I was looking at the old B/W footage where the white super trooper was introduced. It sounded there were sort of "space ship" ambient sounds. Any body else pick up on this?

Also, I think the graflex ears pointed up in the video.

looking MUCH better now!
care to share some pics of the uzi based supertrooper blaster?
how did you do the detailing on the aluminum sideplate?

thanks in advance, Markus
