From the pics above, these belts look amazing!

What would it take to convert them over to functional pouches (ala MP Productions belts)?

As for functional pouches. It could be done, but it wouldn't be easy. I would have to rig some sort of a setup that would allow the flaps to continue to maintain that angle.
Not to say that I won't ever try making one, but my current focus is to make as many non-functional ones as possible. :)

I realize that the screen-used Fett belts are thought to have been non-functional, but I've always been one for what I call robust accuracy with my props and costumes. To me, this means that I would like them to be as screen-accurate in appearance as possible, but in certain instances--functional vs. cosmetic pouches, metal vs. plastic blaster greeblies, etc--I prefer to go with the more robust version (metal parts, functional pouches, etc) if the option is available.

I am very seriously considering putting myself on the list for one of your ESB belts, but I haven't got the $$ to take the plunge quite yet. :)

I dug this one out of the attic with the search function. :D
