Hello Hotshot, i am very interested in purchasing one of your STUNT ROTJ Fett rifles if you are still producing them, or have some available. Is it okay to send a check via mail to you?
Of course you would receive and cash the check before you send out the rifle, if that is more comfortable for you.
Pm or email me at dpbsculpture@gmail.com
    Thank-you!

Thanks for your interest Spitfire! Unfortunatly, Paypal's the only way I'll go on this . . .sorry. If you have a friend who uses it, I have no porblem accepting their payment in your name.

I will be producing these things for a while, so you have time!

Re: STUNT ROTJ Fett rifles, finally! Big pics.

Thanks Sandman! I wanted to post up some comparison shots of Old versus New, so everyone would completely comprehend what they'll be getting. Here's comparison shot of an old blaster (top) to a new one that went out today (two went out, one to IrsihFett, the other to Vad_h8r for Friday trooping).

Old, thin trigger guard, compared to new, reinforced trigger guard. Still flexible, but not paper thin or tearable.

Bend comparison. Old up top, new on bottom, with a peice of pipe under the middle. Old bends and droops, new stays straight, while still having bendability. The skin of rubber has been thickened up for a bit more rigidity, but it hasn't gained weight, or lost the 'squish.'

Hope this clear all the issues up. I was able to have a well reinforced blaster that would bend and flex under pressure from accidents, bumps, etc, but that won't wobble everytime it moves. I've also improved the paintjob a bit, making it a bit more accurate. I'm very happy with the results, and feel that, while these are foamy, squisy stunts, anyone within five feet won't be able to tell unless they look very, very hard. I'll be shipping these out very regularly, and will have this run finihsed up by the middle of next week. Ive got Thursday off, as well as Sunday and Monday, so plenty of catchup time. I also canceled any plans of Ghostbuster props this year, so I could focus on this and the ESB. I'll also be producing foam shin tools, and will finally be putting out an E-11 but more on that later. Thanks again for sticking with me on this gang! I really appreciate it!

Hey Rhett if one of those 2 is me, then yes I recieved it yesterday and the 2 comparisons that you showed in the pic is exactly how mine is. I guess I dont have to do a review of it since you already did it!! LOL But its a great piece but just wished it was a bit more sturdy because when I hold it up, yes it tends to bend a bit and my wife had to laugh!!

Oh, one more thing, my piece came with the scope torn off so I dont know if someone took it off to inspect it or such but yes it was torn off of my rifle.

But if ya like I can post up some pics but like I said its actually the same as how you just showed in your comparison shots!!

Thanks for your PM! It just porves all this extra work is worth it!!

Yours was actually one of the first six. Two new ones went out a few days ago, and I'm confident they'll be well liked.

I really think (and you can judge from the comparison pics) that we struck a nice balance between the original idea, and what people wanted to troop with.

Success or failure . .this has been a blasty blast!

I wanted to update, and let you guys know antoerh prop maker tossed me a great idea on how to elminate the wobble, while still maintianing the squisy, drobable foam blaster. So any blaster heading out will go from less wobble to semi rigid!

    Thanks!

Hey sorry for the delayed post...I got my blaster yesteday and was going to post but then did a troop and didn't have time. So here is my review.

AMAZING! That pretty sums up the whole blaser in one word. Everything is just right. When I first opened the box and grabbed a blaster, I noticed a world of difference even before I got to analyze it. When you hold the blaster it feels more like one piece and wobble is hardly an issue. It's study and it feels more like your holding a gun as compared to the previous version. Now the problems i had before are corrected. The finger guard is sturdy and doubt it would rip. There is little give but its not as apparent as the previous version. Also the scope is more sturdy as well. I still have a little bend in the eye piece close to you but it is really only noticeable if you look straight down the barrel. I personally think it could have been due to shipping, so we will see if it straightens out over time. Also the paint changed between the versions. It was originally dark and this one is more of a light warmer grey gun metal color. I wasen't sure about this when they were compared right next to each other...but then I took the old one away and walked back through th eliving room and it looks great! It just seemsso drastic compared to the other color as one is warm and the other is cold colors. But STILL great paint job and the weathering is...well, it looks like its been caroded by sand and looks like it was left out in the sun. This is perfect for that ROTJ Boba on Tatooine.

Now just to keep it fare, there are some minor imperfections. There are still parts where the pull was a little rough and some of the "spongy" foarm is exposed. Now DON'T worry! It's there but hardly noticable. I took the blaster and extended it at arms length and now couldn't see any. So only if your right up on it can you notice the "sponge" which is very sparse. As compared to the previous version...its super clean and all the detail lines are smooth and distinct. Another thing is that my stock greeblies were starting to come off. Easy fix. Just glue it back down and your ready to go.

Over everything in consideration, this blaster is 100% better than the previous blaster in all ways. As for the new blaster itself, it looks more defined, has a studrier skeleton, wooble is hardly there, still very light, trigger is stronger so chance of rip is very minimal, and T-tracks are very detailed. This is a great blaster and a new way to look on trooping with a gun. There are some flaws but its a stunt and its made from foam. I am surprised at how clean hotshot got this foam to look when it was pulled. Great blaster and I can say that the other blasters to come are a sure thing and you can trust that Hotshot puts himself into his work. It is a creative and refreshing. Looking foward to seeing this grow and expand. Hotshot your the man! Three cheers for Hotshot!!
