STUNT ESB EE-3's Progress/interest/preorder

for me honestly this is fine. Sucks we waited so long but what can you do? I'm sorry the mold ripped. I was first on the list and first to pay but meh now that money can go towards other fett stuff. I have a budgetfett kit and can finish that. Hotshot didn't you already pull all the greeblies?

THe grebblies are pulled, but some of them are "stunt" so they'll be going in the trash.

I will be doing a run of ESB and ROTJ greeblies to off set costs and get folk there money quicker. MOre on that later.

I think what people need to realize is he probably had over $500 in supplies/product to make them with, that is now gone/unusable. I know that I got hit for about $500 the same way when the knee mold went out, so I understand where hes coming from.

I saw how the last webley master he made came out of the mold. It totally destroyed it, so im assuming that its not so simple as to 'make another mold'.

Hotshot, you can use my real webley if you want to come to michigan. I cant obviously ship it over state lines, and it cost me almost 2k to buy it, but id be willing to let you copy it to get these people their guns. We can put it back together, fill the cracks with vaseline, fill the barrell with clay and make a solid copy of it.

That's an amazing offer, and I'm always proud to be able to work with other members to fill the order, but time is also a huge part of this. I have no free weekends until the last weekend of Jan, and that one's spent on another, large project I'm under contract on. This just plain sucks. I'm happy to refund everyone in due time, and maybe try again later.

I need a set of all the small parts you have made to complete my budget fett ESB kit(stock Greeblies, molex, V-8 rod, scope rings and pvc flash tube.

****...this fully sucks! Who else makes these??? I've been shooting for the end of February to have my full costume done and now w/o the gun I'm screwed. If anyone is willing to PM me with info or a sale of an EE-3 then I will apply my credit from this run immediately to you!!!

BTW, I will need a flash tube with my refund...thanks...

I dont want to step on hotshots toes, but my plan is to make a 'multi material' version of the gun, that will withstand a drop from a building.

I have done the foam/rubber thing, and its more than time consuming. I doubt many would appreciate what goes in to it:)

If anyone wants to pm me ill give them more details, but with the budget fett gun, and these, ive sort of taken my webley apart and let it sit until those projects are complete. It wont be a budget gun though. It looks to be around 100-150, but shouldnt require much/any cleanup at all.

Sounds good and I might be interested...

Hotshot, what are the details on the refunds? I know this was a time consuming project but I think we all could use our money back as soon as possible to put into purchasing a new blaster from someone else...thanks!

I gotta agree with echo here.. i have had my money tied up in this since August and it is money I definately need back if there is not going to be a run...its not the best of times as everyone knows.

Disappointed this run didn't work out; your ROTJ rifles looked great.

Please do send my refund for the full amount. Thanks.

Same here...not pissed at all, just bummed. I was looking really forward to these! I'm appreciative though for the refund. Just keep us posted, of course, the sooner the better...thanks!

You know what I just realized while posting in the ROTJ stunt thread, which lurched me outta bed at 1:24 in the chilly AM?

I made the following statement: "The ROTJ mold is just fine"

Think about that . . . . . .

You there yet?

I'll wait . . . .

Okay got it?

While the ESB master didn't make it, I did keep parts of it . . .like the barrel. If I've already got a decent cast made of the rest of the original scratchbuilt Webley I used for both these . . .witha bit of "retooling" . . . and molds of all the other ESB detail parts . . . and a gallon or two of silicone on the way for another project . . .

Maybe we can get this back on track!!!!!

Give me till Tuesday . . .let me see what I can pull off. I'll make a final decision then!

Keep your gaunlets crossed!!

I'm cool with product or refund, whichever comes first! Worst case scenario for me is I end up having two of these blasters...one stunt and one hero. I still may need an extra flash tube to replace the one that is on the hero version I just bought. Keep us posted, thanks!

Update on salvage:
Got a pull last night from ROTJ mold in resin(stock, bracket, min body of gun), and was able to sand/sculpt/refit it (ROTJ greeblies gone, put new barrel on) and get a huge head start on a new master. I'm looking at a Monday night delivery from UPS of 2 new gallons of silicone and some new foam rubber for the first couple of test pulls.

I am happy that I'm at least getting another shot at the blaster, but am so dog tired of **** like this . . .as I'm sure you are. My last two runs went perfect (Davy Jones' Pipe on the RPF, foam blasters on BikerScout.net). I guess we've all been cursed!! OooOOOooooOO!

Stay with me, and we'll get everyone covered, wether by refund, or with product.

Thanks for the support . . .
