Stiff Hose Problem

OK...I know I opened myself up here.

I bought the braided hose for my gauntlet and it is really tight. Is there any way to soften it up and make it more pliable. I am afraid of putting to much strain on the gaunt attachments.

Thanks

Nah... too easy.

As for the hose...

Have you tried just sitting in front of the TV bending it? (now I am the one who left myself open :D)) I can't think of anything else cause heat would harden it and chemicals may make it brittle.

Sorry dude - good luck!

mine are way stiff also. but i think thewy migth get easier over time, maybe not

so alittle help here as well....

There's nothing wrong with bending a stiff one! :D Oh, behave! LOL! Someone said something recently about using a soft vinyl hose and painting it to look like the other one.

I think we're perpetuating the stereotype that black hoses are the stiffest!

Guys seems like we all have that stiff problem. ''I found a solution'' ,go to Home Depot or any other hardware store, and look for a ''kit with a spray nozzle it is used on kitchen sinks. The hose is exactly the same with the braid inside of
it as well. I searched everywhere for just the hose itself but they only come in a kit form. Just go the extra mile and spend a little more on the armor thats all I can say. I tested these hoses and beleive me they look the same as the stiff ones ,but most of all no strain at all.

I was wondering where I could find "non-stiff" tubing. That was a good posting man. There's a Home Depot right down the street from my house. Thanks! :D

I found the hose and bought it. Around $8-9 bucks. The only thing different is that it is white and braided. Not the clear one. The flexability is perfect though. Thanks Metallboy! Good Call! ;)

Was Fett's hoses in the movies plastic or metal? I found a very flexable metal hose that bends like a snake and looks awesome. On my Fett bust, his hose is thin and looks like it's made of metal. Any answers? It was probably plastic hosing, but figured I'd ask. Thanks! :D

I am pretty sure it was the rubber with the threads as described above.

I know the metal hose your talking about. It is cool looking, but I don't think it would be right for the outfit. The weight may be too much for the attachments also.
