Indeed, it also shows that the circular greeblie at the least is on both sides. I'd always wondered about that. Therefore I think it is reasonable to assume that the connecting rod would have been there too, although this picture does make me doubt that the pulley front half is the correct part even more.

Looking at that picture from Fettered (thanks) and once again holding the real pieces together and I'm still in doubt about it (I know Sidewinder, I know). I just cannot replicate the angles and dimensions in the pictures using the pulley front half.
Glad the dot thing is cleared up for me. The thing is the the definition on that photo is really quite good and I just feel that looking at it I should be able to identify the pulley front half without any doubt. Anyway, whatever, I just feel it maybe too small.
This picture will really help me when I build the scope mountings. It's awesome.

It's been a while since I examined the blu-ray, but if you have it and access to a high-quality 1080p screen you may pick up other details by playing with the brightness levels. I think that is what was done to that still--the brightness looks cranked up to me.
