I don't actually make the mannequins.
The one I am using is from ebay, but I did have to cut and modify the arm and hand to get the right look
Please disregard the jumpsuit, it is my Ghostbusters jumpsuit standing in until the real one has been sewn by crazy4bobafett.

Ugh, I've been in Minnesota for most of this month with work and just returned today.
However, I did manage to lay down some green before I left

I can't remember whom the studs came from. I bought them in the Cargo Hold though
The gloves arrived and have been added.

The material for the vest went to crazy4bobafett before I left, and she is hard at work making ALL of the soft parts.
She is the absolute best and I wouldn't have anyone else touch the soft parts.

Did some more work on these parts.

I had to stop because I broke the last bottle of paint I had and needed to order some.
I did start making the boots grey today too

Screws.

Put the studs on the collar and cod

The chestlights are also in and the backplate is attached to the Collar via the Studs.

The gauntlets are being assembled and prepped for painting.
I also started working on the shin tools using real found parts.

Looks good Nate! I figured maybe I should chime in on the soft goods. Didn't know you had a thread going, sorry.
The jumpsuit is ready to be dyed ROTJ grey today. Its basically pre pro white now. =) I finished sewing it as far as I typically go with it prior to dye and then finish off details once its dyed.
I did have a minor set back sewing the neck seal I decided to sew thru my middle finger yesterday which resulted in a pierced nailbed and straight through my finger exiting to break the leather needle. Sweet!
Needless to say today it feels awesome!
As far as whats is left; vest, cape, side pouches and spats and all the final details etc.
Other than that, right on schedule!

I'm trying to get the specs for the cape right now, so hold off on that until last.

Really can't recall who made those, they could be.

Yes, The gauntlet darts are read and black.

The boots are just about finished.

All of the soft parts arrived today from crazy4bobafett.
They are fantastic as always and I can't recommend her more.

i have them on the mannequin for placement, they still need weathering etc.

Slapped the hard parts on for a test fit.

The spacing is off because it's only taped on for now, but will be bolted on permanently.

This is one fantastic build you got going! I'm so jealous!

Nate...that freakishly ill proportionate mannequin looks proportionate! It really looks fantastic! Everything looks really balanced. Hows the stress level?

Made the shin tools and weathered the jumpsuit/pouches/spats




I also installed the visor and pre-shaded the helmet


I also had to fabricate a new bottom cover . The gauntlets were missing it when i got them, I contacted the maker (fettpride) about it over 3 months ago, but he still never sent it.
So i made this one yesterday

weather and work has put a serious stranglehold on this project
The JP is getting close to done
I took a quick pic of it before I sprayed the Blue.


I hope to spray the Blue in about an hour or so.

That is some fantastic work Nate. I'm really loving the weathering.

I didn't spray the Blue yet, i got sidetracked with the bucket.


I also screwed up the vest, but i had it repaired and sized down a tad.

Was kinda busy this morning, so i didn't get anything done like I wanted.
However, i did do a test fit after getting the armor attached in order to see how everything fit together minus the Jetpack.

We are getting pretty close now. (obvously,the vest still needs weathering)

disregard the wire coming from the chest plate, it's for the chest lights and I haven't routed it yet.

I did spray the red on the helmet today .
The main colors on the helmet are done, now I gotta add all the details.

. It looks great so far

I painted the Killstripes today and added some of the scratches etc. I also slapped the ears on for show.
I still need to add small details and weathering.

Just Amazing!

I finished the jetpack today...

Looking great, do you intend to add to dental files to the helmet and jetpack

That's a tough call.
I have a set of replicas for the helmet, but I need one for the Jetpack.

crazy4bobafett and I picked ourselves up one apiece at SDCC a few years back.
I'm sure he used the original GG Fett Bust as inspiration (in fact, I'm sure it was this picture of the bust)

I have a few small things to wrap up now:
1. Repaint the blaster to match the screen-use
2. Add the nubs to the back of the helmet
3. Mist the helmet a little for weathering
4. Pad the helmet
