Shaping armor

    Shaping armor

    Are there any guides for how much to bend and where to bend the armor so that it is accurate? Or do people just shape it to their own torso and leave it at that?

    Typically, it is to your torso.

    Your best approach is the TDH Gallery, especially the exhibit costumes, where you will find images of the armor from almost all angles, which is more than enough to help you estimate the right curvatures of each part. And as Bavery said, it is made to fit the body's curvature, so you can do the armor to fit your body type.
