Thanks guys. Had a chance this past weekend to do some cc castings too. I could have spent more time polishing them, but my main concern was just capturing the details with cc resin.
The more I monitor this thread the more impressed I am with these casts. They have literally zero gap between the flamethrower housing and the gauntlet. The level of detail work here is just impressive.
Thanks guys for the kind words. Here are the final assembly pics before heading off to their new owner. The rocket/missile is a Darkside nylon, however, I think an aluminum one would finish these off nicely! [emoji106]The red lamp is temporarily connected to a 9v battery for effect. I also left off the toggle switches in order for the new owner to decide if he wants them or not.
And one last pic showing how everything was attached...
Those look amazing! If I ever decide to do a ROTJ Boba I would definitely want your product. My Jango gauntlets you made are works of art. Great job man!!
I am immensely fortunate to be the owner of the above pictured pair of gauntlets, made by Cruzer and painted the The Workshop. I was blown away with the craftsmanship and quality of Cruzer's product, not to mention he is always a pleasure to deal with - incredibly professional and always quick to answer any questions.
I couldn't be happier! I opted with using a combination of Velcro strapping and foam blocks on the interior to wear. Now to figure out how to get the light working on it!
Thanks buddy for the kind words and even more for being patient with me while finishing this whole project. Between the paint and the aluminum parts you guys really made these look great! It was an honor working on them for you. [emoji106]
