Those look pretty darn good to me. I made mine as well. I have had trouble getting the stripes which I made out of bootlaces to stay glued on to the leather. How did you fare with yours? Any ideas would be great.

thanks guys!! i will eventually do the caboots, but too poor at the moment....:) these will work on a few outings...hope the stripes stay put though...

those are looking pretty good except for the lift in the heel. "correct" boba boots are flat soled. if you're shooting for accuracy that's something i'd take care of. also the elastic "U" section at the ankles dips a little further down. but that's a detail that only we here at tdh would notice.

are they leather and suede? they look sturdy, and honestly a bit more comfortable than my caboots.

I think you have done an excellent job on your scratch boots. They're not 100% accurate, but neither are caboots so you're doing good. Keep it up, looking forward to your updates.

I believe there was a tutorial to replace the sole of boots with heels with a flat sole from a pair of flip-flops... they look nice now but they would look so much better with the flat sole. ;)

Keep in mind that it's mostly only the 501st and the TDH members that will see those details... :)

Or if you don't want to go the whole removing the sole route you could just get a pair of flipflops and cut a piece and fill in the gap/space between the heel ball of the foot. Use goop glue. It very strong.

thanks for all the input guys!! i dont know about filling in the heel and soul....i like em like they are....will eventually do the caboots, but like i said, these 'll work for awhile...they were fun to do!! these boots are all leather, but the ankle piece is elastic...i know that these are not screen accurate, but it was the best i could do with the money i had!!
