Scratch made ESB Split Pulg

I finally got around to using some of my own templates.

This was done during lunch at work with what materials I had on hand, it is built up of 5 layers of mat board, a glue stick, super glue and a tooth pick. I used the glue stick to laminate the layers and once I had the basic shape I hit the whole thing with super glue to harden it up, the mat board really soaks up the super glue, making the park pretty solid. I did the sanding with an emery board I got from one of my female coworkers.

Ok, I did take it home to prime it.

Yeah, it is still pretty rough, but with a little clean up and filling it should look ok on the stock. Especially since find an original it out of the question.

Hey now that hurts!! I'll have you know that I have started a number of helmets, but the dog ate them, yeah that's the ticket! Hey it's my story and I'm sticking to it and if you knew my dog you'd have no problem believing it either.

As it happens I have recently purchased a 4'X8' sheet of 6mm Sintra and a couple of sheets of styrene for the helmet, armor and the gauntlets, now all I need is some time.

The big news here is that we just completed the adoption of our second son, Jake. We went before the judge yesterday. (y) Now I'll need to make mini mando costumes.

that looks like utter scrap... lol

Great work Alan, now start on a helmet.:cheers
