Glad to hear there is some interest. It may be a little ways off before I come up with something because my goal right now is to complete my ROTJ Boba costume. Definitely thinking about it.

Wow. Fantastic work!!! I've bee thinking about using .060 card for blasters and other things, thanks to WoF and Antman's helmet templates and build... Yours put things over the top and I think I'm gonna raid my local arts store for the rest of their card!!!

And if you ever get round to templates or such, I'd definitely be interested!!!

Thanks for the kind words guys.

MrDickJones, sorry to hear that you couldn't make the stock work. Have you done any pep builds prior this?

The way I constructed mine was I used the card stock as a shell & then glued architectural cardboard onto the inside of the card stock. This created a shell. I then cut piece of the card board & layered the inside creating 2 solid halves. I filled in the areas in the radius with smooth cast to tie it all together. I didn't take any pics of this. You can see some of what I did on the side with the recess for the stock attachment with the layer cardboard. When glued together it got a coat of smooth cast on the outside. Hope this is some help to you if you want to give it another go.

I am fairly new to pepakura. The stock printed out great and assembled perfect! I fiberglassed the inside of the two halves, but dispite having a good mix ratio, the resin never fully cured and ended in failure..
When it gets warm again, another attempt may be made...... As u may know, it is very hard to be fully satisfyed with a "complete build".

Thank you for the kind words. There are many great references & study the photos. If I can be of any help let me know.

There is definitely a learning curve to pepakura. I have had similar issues with the resin not setting up at times & not sure why. But over all I am rather impressed with smooth cast products. Glad to hear you are going to give it another go.

    Re: Scratch built ROTJ EE-3

I have been honored to have my scratch built EE-3 be used for the reference photo for the ROTJ Boba Fett on the 501st CRL. Wouldn't have been able to do that without the wealth of knowledge & references here on the TDH.

    Re: Scratch built ROTJ EE-3

If you look further up in this thread there are a number of photos completed from different angles & close up shots as well as work in progress photos.

For photos start going through the "Gallery" here on TDH, there are a ton of good photos.

Use the search function as well. There are a number of build threads that people have done.

Are you building a scratch built or buying a kit?

Hope this helps some if you have any other questions let me know.
