Has anyone ever tried to modify a rucksack frame for a JP harness? Ive worn a ruck a few times and just was thinking how similar the Alice Pack Frame is to the air bottle frame and could be modded to work Easily its just a little wider...any thoughts?

Looks like it could work to me, but I really don't know. I'm sure someone will chime in with good info soon.
That's exactly what I used for my old jetpack. The problem was it added to overall weight on my back & that it made the back plate stick out.

It would seem to be way too wide as well as too long and the kidney pad would push your jetpack out too far from your back. That is just my opinion after wearing one of those things off and on over the course of ten years.
I was talking about cutting it up a little and making it more the right size
