ROTJ WIP link

So, after much thought and saving. I had THE talk with my wife about something near and dear to my heart. A few of yall know I wanted to originally do a Boba Fett before I joined the 501st and did my TK, well it couldn’t happen, so after a year and ½ I am at the point where I am taking the plunge and ordered BOBA parts to begin my jorney. A few think it’s a mistake, but I am going for it. :

I will be selling my TK after Starwars Weekends. : In the mean time will be finishing up my deck officer to maintain 501st status and then transition to Bounty Hunter in the close future.

I have been dreading the TALK with my wife for a few months, but she was 100 % into it. :shock: :o
She even said well, EVERYONE knows who Bobo FATT is LOL.. :silly:
As long as she can get a new couch and computer I can do my FETT so it’s on..
What a deal !!


I will be repairing my TK to it's best condition and advertising to sell when time gets closer.
Keep an eye for those looking for TK Armor. 8)

That is one snazzy looking ROTJ. I love how even your daughter approves .

This looks really great!!! Congrats! Just an fyi, I dont think ROTJ has the little "lens" piece attached to the RF.

No worries man...It should be really easy to just heat a little bit (w/ hair dryer), and it will pop right off. That is if its epoxied : ). Here is a pic from Fett Pride (hope he doesnt mind as it its a nice clear photo).

I'm going to hope it leavs the glue behind like movie one ha ha ..

October is my goal, but As long as I can troop our local toys for tots, that is my 2nd year in 501st annivesary. in my BOBA that wil be great..

Sanded and started to put pack together.






And making toe spikes.. Too hot done for the day !!



Petted the puppy in my spare time !

Went out after it cooled off a bit and started on gauntlet. I may get a different set , but wanted to try these out..\









I can't finish the undersideof gaunt or install hinge until i get the flame emmiters and hose attachments. Then the blue tape WILL come off :P

Got soft parts today BOBAMAKER is well worth the wait.. Fits like a glove no pun intended..

Now to get it dirty and mount the armor not in that order!!

Im sorry but, you spent $$ on Bobamakers stuff but not on a proper blaster? That just doesnt add up...not to mention there are american options out there that are more accurate for the soft items. Id contact Stormrider about a blaster if I was you dont skimp on one of the most important items its like the helmet a show piece that everyone sees first thing

I guess I didn't copy my post in its entirety.
I have been cutting and pasting on a few different forums and some of the information didn’t copy over 100% correct.
This blaster is for trooping kid’s events, where I would NOT want to carry around a "Proper" blaster for many reasons, money being the number one, damage , and letting kids pose for pictures with this won’t make me a nervous wreck ,not to mention it is cheap and can be replaced from one trip at Target.
In December I am planning on getting Sidewinders kit for Christmas.
As for the soft parts, I contacted the top armor and soft parts makers in USA with either no response back or 9 months to a year waiting list.
The sale went to who contacted me back, had great communication, and service in a timely manner.

Your comment about my helmet is unclear? What in your opinion is wrong with it? I know it has the RF stalk lens on it in the pictures, but it has been removed for ROTJ helmet.

I do value your opinion and thank you for comments, but I would have nothing to work on or to show if I waited on everyone’s opinion to make my decisions.

He wasn't speaking negatively of your helmet. He was saying that the blaster tends to be one of the first things people notice much like the helmet.

Wasn't sure..it's all good . no worries !

That makes more sense now...maybe look for a hyperfirm blaster, u can toss it up an escalator from what Ive been told and watch it come back to you
