General RotJ SE - Finishing Touches

I gotta say I love all the nitpicking on peeps Bobas. It is what this site is about. I need to start posting pics so I can so I can get nitpicked as well to have my Boba the best it can be.

Nitpicking or making more accurate...which would you call it? You can't even begin to understand nitpicking of a boba until you submit for the mercs or 501st.

I'll have to say that TDH will be far more nit picky on a boba then either of those two organizations(not saying they dont scrutinize).... you may get praise for putting a suit together here...but that is by no means saying a suit is "done" since theres always new parts to be found it seems new fabric to be used, vintage paint colors, better measurements etc.... At TDH I know most of the old timers like Mr Fett for example has been perfecting his suit for 9 years.

I merely meant nitpicking to achieve the accuracy we hope to achieve. I would love to eventually become a member of the 501 and the mere thought of having them look at my (eventually) finished work scares the living crap out of me! Can one submit one piece at time for approval and then perfect it before moving on to the next piece, or just the whole package deal at once?

You submit the whole suit for approval...then they come back with a checklist saying good to go or no go.... and if its a no go WHY its a no go. So if say you have ESB braids on a ROTJ suit and its not an SE suit that would be a no go.

If you are building it yourself and care about accuracy, you will figure it out.
Concentrate on one piece at time.
There are far worse thing that could happen in life than not getting 501st approval.
I have seen a few costumes in the board that have gotten approval that are far from exact.
