ROTJ SE CLR list?

MajorTom

Jr Hunter
so since there isnt a clearance list on the 501st for the SE boba fett
does anyone know what i need for a level 3 costume?

@ Fett 4 Real is building a SE list of sorts. Is it just me, or are a lot of people really wanting this list? :)

I don't know how close the 501st CRLs will match his list, but for now, you have a few choices:

1. Go by references images and Fett4Real's list and do the best job you can
2. Sit tight and wait for the CRL to be developed. Especially if you are wanting Level 3, things may change while it's being produced, and you won't be happy if you order something that doesn't come in at the higher level.

If level 3 is that important, you can work on/order things that you know are going to be similar with other versions of the costume (i.e shin tools, flight suit, boots, etc.)

If it were me...I'd look at rotj level 3 and go from there...the 501st list will be close to mine I'm sure just not as in depth as they don't really care about the placement of damage nor weathering and such as long as the knees are yellow you're good in their book. I plan on getting this post together soon. But about to have family in town and have 2 commissions taking a good bit of my spare time up...If you want an end all be all rotj se goto the gallery look at the images In the special edition gallery and read a few of my posts from this week regarding the se...I've explained a good bit but there is a good bit more....

And DeathProof ...yeh it does seem that way...rafal has explained a little of it. But he didn't catch the two separate photo shoots I don't think and I don't think he noticed the gaunt from the first photo shoot that's from the skiff and rotj se jabba scene without the blaster.

Yup, won't be nearly as anal retentive as the tdhers lol!
Pay attention to the color of the pouches too. Two different colors there. Would imagine it would still need the lights on the RF and electronics on it as well.

I wanted to chime in on this one.....

I'm the Detachment XO for the BHG...... and guiding the process for the SE CRL right now. If you're a member, please head over, I would welcome the input.......

As for the yellow comment F4R, that's not accurate. Are we going to get down to every scratch? Most likely not. But we do put in the CRLs that they are to match visual references as much as possible. I've given that feedback to several members on there when they've submitted photos for review.

My goal with all the CRLs we've been working on is to make them better than they have been and get us looking better as Bounty Hunters. Which, I think, is the same goal most of us here have........ We want what we saw on screen or in the reference material we have.......

Well thing is the pp2 knee and the rotj knee are TOTALLY different...and people get away with rotj extra pouches and an esb helmet with no black smudges...I hope when I put up my list you take a look...Also note that there are brown pouches and tan pouches in the photo shoots...not just tan...I read through that thread...And would love to make the crl better and level 3 should have all the things I've mentioned correct damage on the armor including knee...Brown or tan right hip pouch....etc

Speaking as the DL for the BHG and someone who works closely with Major on the CRLs, we'll be as anal retentive as we can be. You can't demand a person have every last exact scratch or most people would not be approved. We strive to find the best option that meets somewhere in the higher end of the middle.

Keep in mind when building the ROTJ SE suit there are multiple options…. Do you mean the photo shoot suit? The on screen suit or the suit that's on display? All are different to some degree and we're trying to find the best solution that doesn't make it impossible to land on a solution.

If you're a 501st member and have an opinion, PLEASE bring your opinions to the discussion thread. You really can't complain about a process if you don't offer up help to improve it. THanks!

Made a post. It's hard to catch up on so much to read through. I missed a few weeks of posts there....but the pouch thing hasn't been talked about that I saw and it should be addressed...
