ROTJ right gauntlet hoses

Cassus

New Hunter
Hey all, i was wondering what to do with the hoses on my right gauntlet. I tryed just sticking them up my sleve but that don't work vary well. Any pics or good advice would be GREATLY welcome. Thanks!!

TK-409 has a tutorial on his website that shows, I believe, sewing in a couple pieces of elastic cord into a loop and then making an angled slit in the end of the hose and attaching them up under the outer sleeve of the flightsuit. As it comes from his site, it should be a pretty well researched and accurate method.

What kind of hose are you using and where'd you get it. I'm about to fix mine up and a quick check at Lowe's produced mostly plumbing hoses that were printed in blue type. I don't think I want them to have printing on them and couldn't tell if it could be removed or not.

Yeah i got the hoses from Home depot. As far as i know they look like movie quality.

Aww. Those look perfect. I'm off to Home Depot as soon as my new gauntlets from Slave1Pilot arrive next week! Thanks for the pic.

Heres how I did mine...

BTW I don't think you need the connector that you have on the top hose assembly. All the pics I have seen have the hose just attached directly to that piece on the gauntlet. The MOM pics show what appear to be a JB weld looking material gooped on with a wire wrapped around it.

I got my hose from walmart. Its one of the little sprayer guns for the kitchen sink. $7 and it was enough for the 3 hoses that the PP2 costume needed. I attached them the way TK409 suggested, but I just drilled a hole straight through the tubes and threaded a piece of elastic through it and tied it into a loop. Drokkul's method looks sweet, I might upgrade to that eventually.
