Jetpack looks great - well done on the paint job.

I see a sneaky blaster in the second and third photo... when are you going to be showing us that!?

Cheers fellas :) aah still need to do a bit more on the blaster, but will be revealing that soon :) I've actually made my own harness from heavy duty webbing, buckles and D-rings...cost me less than £10, but foes the job great. Will be post pics of that too when I'm done sewing :)

Hey quick question on the 501st costume reference for the ROTJ pack it mentions that it must have a "stabilizer" and the beacon which part is the Stabilizer???

The beacon is the metal (or resin painted to look like metal) rod and base on the opposite side of the jetpack from the beacon. Its on the right side near the top in the pics above.

Are you aiming for 501st approval? If so there are some paint color issues you will have. It looks nice though if you want it for personal use.

Hey Crumdum :) not looking for 501st yet mate, though will do eventually. Any help would he welcomed. What do you recommend I change? I'm based in the UK so have been trying to match up colours with what's available here.

Above is one of the 4 jet packs worn in RoTJ. 2 were exploding jet packs, 1 a stunt jetpack (foam I believe). This is the one that your jet paint job should be modeled after

Notice the difference in colors on the top and bottom of the tubes versus your jet pack. It should be the same color as the bottom of your rocket and thruster. Also notice the difference in weathering on the center blue area versus your jet pack.

For reference purposes here are the other jet packs used during the filming of RoTJ.

Exploding 2

As a super awesome realism factor, the decals at the bottom near the center blue stripe (on the white area) in the main jet pack used were very faded...almost blue in color.

That's awesome, thanks for your input and help, it's all a learning curve as it's my first build. I'll use these as reference for future upgrades and tweaks, cheers brother :)
