ROTJ Gauntlet Hose

image.jpg This one is from home depot It fits perfect on MOW gauntlets. 5/8x3/8x10

Gonna commit a little thread necromancy here, but wanted to share my findings for others in the US who might be looking for hoses that are as near to screen-accurate as possible.

This site sells 0.535" OD x 0.315" ID hose. Not EXACTLY screen-accurate, but really, really close to RafalFett's info on the original dimensions (0.55" OD and 0.32" ID). They sell it by the foot... so you only need to order as much as you need. And the hose wall is thinner than the stuff found at Home Depot or Lowe's, so it's significantly more flexible and less likely to pop off the connectors or catch on the flightsuit.

To me that hose looks great and is in the correct range. I also corrected my #7 post, as I had the inch values inverted.

I love the fact that we can find such detail on stuff like this on TDH. Rarely is there a question that hasn't been answered.
Thanks for doing the grunt work on finding where to get these.

Always the treasure trove of knowledge here at TDH, even about the smallest of details. A good way to make sure your hose fits is to take your gauntlet, or at least the connector end into the hardware store with you to make sure it fits properly. As for the sleeve attachment the technique is used is similar to some of the others, I sewed a key ring up under the sleeve and attached a D-ring/ snap link to the end of the hose, easy in, easy out.
